Preparation of Eastern Municipal Water District’s Potable Water Booster Station Submittal and Design Guidelines and Potable Water Hydropneumatic Booster Station Submittal and Design Guidelines included developing detailed guidelines for booster stations and hydropneumatic booster stations addressing all aspects of engineering submittals and design for developer constructed stations; conducting multiple workshops with District staff (New Business, Engineering, Water Operations, and Maintenance Services) to identify key features, components, and considerations that are essential to an efficient and properly functioning booster station that requires minimal operator attention and maintenance; and creating detailed civil, mechanical, architectural, structural, and electrical design requirements for booster station facilities.
Krieger & Stewart provided all services described above, including the development of design criteria and detailed guidelines for use for all developer-constructed stations; conducted workshops with District staff; and addressed civil, mechanical, architectural, structural, and electrical requirements.
