This position requires broad duties, and will provide an excellent opportunity for career development.<\/p>\n<p>We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including 100% paid medical insurance for every employee, 401k retirement plan, life and long term disability insurance, and nine (9) paid holidays.\u00a0 Optional dental and vision insurance is also offered.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Responsibilities:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage multiple projects concurrently and prioritize workload to effectively meet deadlines<\/li>\n<li>Prepare Construction Drawings and Specifications for a variety of projects including, pipelines, well pumping plants, booster pumping plants, lift stations, reservoirs, and treatment plants<\/li>\n<li>Prepare technical and engineering correspondence and reports<\/li>\n<li>Prepare agendas, conduct meetings, and prepare meeting minutes<\/li>\n<li>Plan, assign, train, instruct, assist, supervise, and evaluate the work of engineering and technical staff<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><em>Minimum Qualifications:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, or related field<\/li>\n<li>Professional Engineering (PE) license in California<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 10 years of experience in water\/wastewater engineering design (pipelines, reservoirs, pumping plants, and\/or treatment facilities) with minimum 3 years of experience in project management<\/li>\n<li>Experience with and an aptitude for mechanical, electrical, and structural design<\/li>\n<li>Detail-oriented with strong technical skills and interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<li>Experience working with municipalities and public agencies<\/li>\n<li>Strong client management skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to communicate with design engineers of all disciplines (civil, mechanical, structural, electrical)<\/li>\n<li>Effective oral and written communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Self-starter with initiative and ability to organize and manage work, and balance competing priorities<\/li>\n<li>Legally authorized to work in the United States without restrictions<\/li>\n<li>Ability to drive to job sites within Southern California (valid driver&#8217;s license)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If interested in applying, email resume to <a href=\"mailto:info@kriegerandstewart.com\">info@kriegerandstewart.com<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Position: Senior Civil Engineer Job Description (also see minimum qualifications below): We are seeking a Senior Civil Engineer that is detail oriented and self-motivated to work on a variety of water and wastewater related projects in an exciting hands on environment.
