{"id":396,"date":"2012-04-24T13:59:23","date_gmt":"2012-04-24T20:59:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/beltegrity.com\/?page_id=357"},"modified":"2012-08-27T09:30:18","modified_gmt":"2012-08-27T16:30:18","slug":"well-manage-the-details","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/kriegerandstewart.com\/?page_id=396","title":{"rendered":"We&#8217;ll Manage the Details"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Because details matter\u2026 we will manage the details of each project so that change orders are minimized, contracts are properly fulfilled in a timely manner, safety is assured, and your agencies interests and bottom line are protected.\u00a0 We do this by abiding by the following <strong>Project Management Principles<\/strong> and\u00a0 <strong>Quality Assurance\/Quality Control (QA\/QC) Process<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Project Management Principles<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Frequent Communication\/Vigorous Support to Staff<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We will make a priority of <strong>communicating frequently <\/strong>with your staff while providing engineering consulting services throughout the course of the project.<\/li>\n<li>We <strong>emphasize regular\/ scheduled meetings<\/strong> with staff to ensure project progresses in a systematic manner <strong>without surprises.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Our project <strong>team members are available to meet<\/strong> at the client&#8217;s office or at the project site (even with short notice).<\/li>\n<li>Our <strong>senior<\/strong> <strong>staff members<\/strong> who are responsible for specific projects (principal engineers and project managers) <strong>will be available<\/strong> to the client <strong>throughout the duration of the project<\/strong>, will attend scheduled meetings at your offices, and will confer with your project manager at least weekly to keep him or her apprised of project progress.<\/li>\n<li>We are <strong>committed to responding in a timely manner<\/strong> to all voicemails and emails from clients.<\/li>\n<li>We recognize the need to <strong>support client staff in fulfilling their responsibilities<\/strong>, and therefore prepare and deliver complete materials in a timely manner as requested.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Detailed Meeting Documents<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We prepare <strong>detailed meeting agendas and minutes<\/strong> throughout the course of the project with emphasis on:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Attendees<\/li>\n<li>Discussion items<\/li>\n<li>Action items<\/li>\n<li>Follow-up to action items<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Comprehensive Project Oversight\/ Coordination<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We organize each scope of services to include <strong>oversight and coordination of all project components<\/strong> in order to ensure project moves forward in a systematic, logical fashion.<\/li>\n<li>We maintain <strong>close coordination with sub-consultants<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>We emphasize early and thorough communication with regulatory agencies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Hands-On Participation by Principals and Project Managers<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Review all aspects of engineering in detail.<\/li>\n<li>Attend progress meetings.<\/li>\n<li>Review reports and documents in detail with client&#8217;s staff.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Process<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Our consulting services <strong>tasks<\/strong> are set forth in a <strong>logical and systematic manner<\/strong> to allow services to proceed efficiently.<\/li>\n<li>We <strong>confer with all regulatory agencies<\/strong> which have jurisdiction over the specific project during the preliminary stages of document preparation.<\/li>\n<li>As soon as preliminary design and environmental documents are available, we submit the appropriate permit applications to permitting agencies to <strong>ensure<\/strong> that the <strong>required permits are obtained prior to the construction start date<\/strong>.\u00a0 We generally prepare the various permit applications and have them signed by the appropriate client representative.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Quality Assurance\/Quality Control (QA\/QC) Process<\/span><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Our (QA\/QC) Process consists of two components, Peer Review and Document Control.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Peer Review<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Each of the documents that we prepare on our clients&#8217;
