Associate Civil Engineer

We are seeking an Associate Civil Engineer that is detail oriented and self-motivated to work on a variety of water and wastewater related projects in an exciting hands on environment. Responsibilities:
- Under general supervision and direction, prepare Construction Drawings and Specifications for a variety of projects including, pipelines, well pumping plants, booster pumping plants, lift stations, reservoirs, and treatment plants
- Prepare technical and engineering correspondence and reports
- Prepare engineering design calculations
- Review construction submittals
- Review plan checks
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, or related field
- Professional Engineering (PE) license in California
- Minimum 5 years of experience in water/wastewater engineering design (pipelines, reservoirs, pumping plants, and/or treatment facilities)
- Detail-oriented with strong technical skills and interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate with design engineers of all disciplines (civil, mechanical, structural, electrical)
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Self-starter with initiative and ability to organize and manage work, and balance competing priorities
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without restrictions
- Ability to drive to job sites within Southern California (valid driver’s license)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with municipalities and public agencies
- Experience with and an aptitude for mechanical, electrical, and structural design
