Description:
The work consisted of preparation of Contract Documents for construction of two new submersible pumping units with new guide rails and base elbows; variable frequency drives; emergency standby generator; automatic transfer switch; electrical switchgear and controls upgrade; new service meter and main circuit breaker; surge tank with compressor; above grade piping; connections to existing sewer and force main, and demolition of existing facilities.
Services Provided:
Krieger & Stewart provided design engineering services which consisted of preliminary design, preparation of Contract Documents, preparation of sequence of work including bypass requirements, and preparation of detailed construction cost estimate. Krieger & Stewart provided construction engineering services including engineering support, shop drawings and O&M Manual review, and startup service.
