Description:
The work consisted of preparation of Contract Documents for construction of a submersible lift station with two submersible pumping units; a precast concrete wet well; a below grade valve vault; an overflow emergency storage tank; upgraded electrical service; electrical switchgear and controls in an outdoor panel; manual transfer switch; remote telemetry unit; bypass pumping during construction; connection to existing gravity sewer and force main; and demolition of existing lift station facilities.
Services Provided:
Krieger & Stewart provided design engineering services which consisted of preliminary design, design survey, geotechnical investigation, utility verification, preparation of Contract Documents, preparation of sequence of work including bypass requirements, and preparation of detailed construction cost estimate.
