Description:
The work consisted of preparation of Contract Documents for construction of a submersible lift station with four submersible pumping units and scum removal system; construction of masonry control building housing electrical, switchgear, and generator; installation of biofilter odor control system; construction of 10″ and 33″ gravity sewers (including connections to proposed wet well and existing manholes); construction of landscaping; construction of new force main; connections to existing gravity sewers and force mains; and demolition and abandonment of the existing Diaz Sewage Lift Station.
Services Provided:
Krieger & Stewart provided design engineering services which consisted of preliminary design, preparation of legal descriptions and plats for right-of-way acquisition, geotechnical investigation, utility verification, permit acquisition, preparation of Contract Documents, preparation of sequence of work including bypass requirements, and preparation of detailed construction cost estimates.
